Cafe drinks like latte and cappuccino are espresso based and it’s not possible to replicate without an espresso machine. You can still make great coffee - all you have to do is choose a grind to suit your at-home equipment and the weight you’d like.
‘Me-Time’ in a mug is the best coffee package to make you smile
How great would it be to send your friend or family everything they need to make the best coffee at home in one beautiful little package - ‘me-time’ in a mug?
Send them Host@Home so they enjoy good coffee every day and know you are thinking about them too. Next time you meet they can make you a mug.
A delicious coffee is the morning motivator. Host is a micro roasters and being smaller has its advantages, we can select the best beans and we can roast and despatch quickly which is important as coffee is a fresh product.
Who are Host?
We believe in great tasting coffee but not an any expense.
We believe in well sourced green beans from small producing farmers.
We believe in the environment. Aways trying to reduce, reuse, recycle.
We believe in community and sharing our good luck.
We believe coffee should be good times.
We are super lucky to be a micro coffee roaster in West Sussex. We love the community and the sea is just a mile down the road. We want to share a few little insider tips so you can make great coffee at home too.
We thought it might be helpful to share a little of what we know having got it wrong and made a mess so very often that we now have learnt how to make a good coffee - most of the time.
Always start with good beans - will you choose the Guatemalan Finca San Fancisco coffee in a cafetiere with hot milk mid morning or have a black V60 brew made with Ethiopian Sidamo?
We believe in helping others
Zooming a friend with a coffee for a virtual catch up is a new reality and enjoyed by millions around the world. While enjoying coffee we give others a helping hand.
When you buy our coffee we make a donation to two kids charities, snowdrop trust and feeding futures. It doesn’t cost you anything but isn’t it good to know you are doing something for someone you don’t know while treating your friend or yourself?
