For many years, we thought everyone took their coffee-making-kit on holiday with them. We have happy memories of hands wrapped around a mug of coffee looking out at the sparkling blue waves of the Indian Ocean, the snow-capped peaks of Mont Blanc or a view framed by the open flaps of various editions of tents
When we realised not everyone was quite such a coffee nerd there was a lightbulb aha* moment. Thankfully, a well-paid freelance job for Adidas coincided with the epiphany and a month later the Thelwell pony of small, roasters and a beast of a grocery grinder had been bought secondhand from companies who were upgrading and HOST was born.
When we begun HOST we were committed to finding the best way to bring delicious coffee to customers + started out with the best intentions by focusing on three core principles of PLEASURE + PEOPLE + PLANET.
HAPPYMAKING COFFEE
a better, kind coffee for everyone
